Menemen, Türk mutfağında özellikle kahvaltı sofralarının vazgeçilmezleri arasında yer alan bir yemektir. Ege Bölgesi'ne özgü olan menemen, özellikle İzmir'de olmak üzere birçok şehirde de tercih edilmektedir. Hem pratik yapısıyla hem de lezzetiyle ön plana çıkan menemen, sabah kahvaltılarının olmazsa olmazlarından biridir.
Menemen yapımı oldukça kolaydır ve malzemeler genellikle her evde bulunur. Ana malzemesi domates olan menemen, soğan, biber ve baharatlarla zenginleştirilerek hazırlanır.
